Why are people who love God, satisfied with that?

The title asks YOU a question. This is personal and only YOU can provide the answer. If you are not even going to think about this then you really need to keep reading.

So, you love God – why?

When you say or think or feel that you love God – what does that feel like? Is God some nebulous figment of your imagination or is there some definite structure to your thoughts or feelings about God? Most people who love say they love God what do they mean? It is easy to say you love God without having to justify it mostly to your self/Self. It does not require anything of you, in fact you say it but you probably do not mean it. Probably why most people are satisfied with their version of God is that they understand the God they have created and they have been worshipping that God for so long that it has become easy. There is no striving to know the Truth. Jesus did say, “You shall know the Truth and it will set you free.” John, 8:32 .Well, not straight away but it will start to set you free straight away.

People say the way is hard but is that it? The way is it really hard? It is if you are attached to so many other things in this world, that you have many other gods. Still, if you are sincere and you find the path and stay on it without meandering, it isn’t really hard. If your number one goal is to love God with your whole heart, soul and mind and you let go of everything that gets in the way of that goal, you can traverse a distance quite quickly. Possibly in 10 years !

I see your eyes roll back in your head. Did he really say 10 years. At the start it does appear daunting but remember it is all illusion. That may be hard to get through, only if you do not talk to God in your heart and listen to the response. God really loves you! Loving you, He wants to be where you are, He does not want to be apart from you. See, here is the thing, apart from what you have been brought up to believe, the lies in the form of truth, all you have to do is allow God into your Life. Forget all the screaming of I’m not worthy, I’m a sinner, Humility is a good thing but abject lies are not an excuse. Regardless, if you will just say, ‘God come into my life, walk through me, in me and with me, drive the car and I’ll drive’. TRY IT. The worst that can happen is that you will think nothing has happened but it has. Your call compels the answer. Now get rid of your baggage and let God into your Life. Determine to try the experiment. Talk to God, wait for the answer, if it takes longer than you like, Talk to God again. Once God starts talking to you he will not stop until YOU tell Him to stop. You are more powerful than you know Because God is in you.
