Where is God?

A cry goes up from the wilderness – where is God? The heathen cry in darkness. Let the armies of the Lord come down and free the Holy Ones. Why do people cry out for God and when God is there – are they are unable to see Him/Her? God, as in the catechism, is everywhere. If they cannot see Him/Her then they are not looking, for looking they do not see, listening they do not hear.

There are so many books in the world – more and more all the time, an absolute plethora of books. Knowledge abounds in this world – audio books, videos of knowledge and yet is it enough? No, for the more knowledge you have that is not really useful in introducing you to the Lord – what real use is it? There has to be some personal interaction to even begin something.

Without your input, what is there really? God is in his heaven and all is well. Are you there with God? Is all well with you? It is you who are important to God. Why? Because God is in you. God made you like Him/Her. Because anyone can only create as they are. God created you so that you would allow God into you. He did not create you to just have a business and make a lot of money.

He created you in His image and so you are important to God – just open up and allow God in. That is the way to please God, become like Him. If you have a million dollars and a mansion but you do not allow God into you, then what do you have? Nothing. You need to make space in what you call as your being – for God. For you have free will and you will not be interfered with unless you ask.

Think about this – you are created as a pure flame – pure consciousness. That means there is nothing there that is not God, not in the beginning. There was just you, expanding your awareness and God moving your body and everything flowing. You were God in manifestation and you could be again if you would just get out of the way. God loves you as you are though you can leave some things behind and allow more of Him in.
