Walking the path

You have probably heard of the term – The Path or Walking the path. Have you given it much thought? I know I haven’t. What I did do when I was 26 – Looked back along the path I’d been walking and it looked fine to me so I kept on going along that path. Now to talk a little about the path. What is it?

From my understanding it is a path, not along the ground but more a path in consciousness. You’re probably thinking – how can there be a path in consciousness? I would have to say – Wake up! There is nothing but consciousness anywhere in the universe. All is consciousness. If this is a new concept, perhaps you had better sit a while. The more you think about it, the more it makes sense.

What is God? You are agreed that God is not a little old man sitting in the corner of the universe somewhere. If so – good. What then is God. God has to be something that can be everywhere  at once, be omniscient, be omnipotent – in short be everything. The old catechism I had in first class I believe had the first question as “Where is God?” Answer “God is everywhere.” Well if God is everywhere then there is no place that He isn’t. If God is everywhere, then God is in my little finger and in your little finger and also God is in you and in me.

Something just came to me – God is also in that stubborn hair on your head – the one that always sticks up? It possibly sticks up because of karma but God is still there. How can that be unless God is consciousness? Therefore, the path has to be in consciousness, where else can it be? Is it sinking in yet? God is consciousness. Do you understand consciousness? I could define it but you can look up the definition yourself.

So the path is in consciousness and the path is individualised for each one. Everyone walks the path but though it is the only path it is a little different for each one who walks it. It is not everyone’s mission to be The Messenger. You have your own mission and everyone’s mission is different and so each one’s path is for that one and only that one. Now there is only one Path as there is only one Christ Self and in reality only one I AM Presence.

It is all individualised for you and only you. God loves you so much that he has given you Himself in every way possible and that can only be through consciousness because consciousness is everywhere as is nirvana – that is all around you – you just need t realise it. There is the statement in the Bible – in whom we live and move and have our being. How could that be possible unless we are in God? Do you see a large body around you? No. All you see is what you are conditioned to see.

That is the nature of consciousness – it becomes whatever you want. It is obedient to your every desire. Sure it is the elemental life, the electrons that are pouring down your lifestream – stream of life. Surprise – they are part of consciousness. You are a part of consciousness. Remember you become what you put your attention on! You CAN draw in energy! You can invoke the presence of and Ascended Master and absorb His consciousness into yourself. His consciousness is what He has mastered of the energy of God.

So it will become your consciousness and your consciousness will expand because that is what consciousness does – it either expands or it contracts. So there is nothing but consciousness and that is what we see and our consciousness is our Life and the Path is a part of consciousness.
