Dear Fellow Keepers of the Flame, Communicants and friends of Jenny Batten,

As you may be aware Jenny Batten made her transition on 5th Dec 2014. Jenny’s passing ended a long enduring battle with cancer spanning several years. Jenny’s funeral service was conducted on Tuesday, 9th December 2014, in Wagga Wagga at 1pm. At Jenny’s request her service was conducted by our own Joy Rulewski, a civil celebrant.

Several hundred people gathered to attend Jenny’s farewell, mainly family and friends from Jenny’s life in Wagga Wagga and regional NSW, with four communicants from Church Universal and Triumphant, Joy, Ditas Michaela and Tim, who made the trek.

A recording of a song sung by Jenny’s granddaughter Grace, was played. It was quite touching and seemed to be aligned with many themes of the ascended masters. A photographic reflection was viewed and gave us all a greater insight to the life of service that Jenny led, which was most often hidden by Jenny’s humility. This was further testified by the eulogies given by family and friends, including Michaela, who gave a beautiful testimonial to Jenny. A floral tribute was the final part of the ceremony with members of the congregation processioning to place petals on Jenny’s coffin and give their own private heartfelt goodbye and quiet reflection.

Jenny and Joy spent much time putting together the matrix for this service and all the beautiful songs and timely readings were selected by Jenny, with the final song of the recessional ‘I AM Coming Home’. It was a beautiful service and the atmosphere seemed charged with the light of Jenny’s Presence.

Family members were absolutely happy with the content and conduct of the funeral service. They were grateful that Jenny had the service she wanted. This was significantly important because although there were ascended masters concepts embedded throughout the service (without referring to them as such) they were presented in language that was understandable, congruent and reasonably acceptable to the family who were of Anglican faith. This was how Jenny wanted the service to be – a healing and unifying experience for the family, while remaining true to her own beliefs.

After the service concluded Michaela, Tim, Joy and Ditas, with the blessing of the family, accompanied the hearse to the crematorium and conducted the ritual to demagnetize and withdraw the light from the physical form, as is taught by our beloved Sanat Kumara and Serapis Bey. Jenny’s body was previously on ice three days in accordance with our teachings.

After the important spiritual work was complete the physical form of Jennifer Batten, no longer required for her victory, was placed on the cremation fires.

The experience of participating in this ritual and service was uplifting to all. One commented it felt like a retreat; others that they saw distinct angelic forms in the clouds on the way home. But for all it was an honour and a privilege to serve Jenny’s soul this way, as she had served others all her life.

A Memorial Service will be held for Jenny Batten at Summit University 2015 in Perth [January 16, 2015 at the Ascension Service.] Keepers of the Flame are invited to attend via the Australian broadcast if they are not able to be present in person at SU.

Greetings to the family and friends of our beloved Jenny,

It is winter in the Paradise Valley in Montana and we send you all greetings from the beautiful mountains at the Inner Retreat which Jenny loved so much.

It was a pleasure and a joy to know Jenny and to be a part of her life. Jenny was a wonderful example of a soul striving to be one with her lord and savior Jesus Christ. Jen was humble and kind and she always sought to self-correct and improve herself in every way that she could. She was willing to help anyone and she was merciful and forgiving.

Jenny had a great love for Jesus and for her fellow man. She sought to see the Christ light in everyone she met and she certainly carried that Christ light in her heart. It was glowing within and around her the last time we spent time with her in her lovely home in Wagga Wagga as we talked of her moving on to heavenly octaves and about her mission in life.

So we will say “Vondir” Jenny.

Vondir is a greeting, a salutation, and a good-bye. Jenny’s teacher Elizabeth Clare Prophet said that Vondir is an ascended master word which feels like a blessing, an extension of love, an extension of oneness—it means “until we meet again.”

And no doubt we will see you again on the cosmic highways Jenny. Don’t forget to send us heavenly help from time to time as you look down upon us all from starry heights. You promised after all.

Love and Light
