The value of self-worth
If I think of myself, I find that even though I thought I knew some things, nothing really changed until I had self-worth. This was not the worth of the ego but my worth in my I AM Presence. I realised, by God’s grace, that I only had self-worth because God in me had self-worth. It had nothing to do with me, in particular. I had been making calls on binding the dweller of the threshold of the lack of self-worth and one day as I was going through my calls, I do this with my eyes closed because it seems I see better doing this.
Anyway, I was making the calls on the lack of self-worth and as I was about to make that call again, I saw a breastplate of self-worth by my leg, so I picked it up and reached up to my I AM Presence and started making calls for various things and as I brought my hands down and ran them over my chest I put on the breastplate of self-worth. This really helped me since I was no longer a miserable sinner. I stood better, I believed in God in me more, I was worthy of God, not because of anything I did or could do, but because God in me was worthy.
There you have the value of self-worth – it is your worth in God – no matter who you are, that is important. God, in reality, is no respecter of persons. Think about that!
Sometimes i just have to shake my head as I grow to understand that I AM worthy because God in me is worthy more and more by God’s grace. I believe this is the same for all of God’s virtues. God loves you because you are not for anything you can do – God can do everything for Himself. God loves you because you are. That is it in a nutshell. Of course you do your part in letting go of everything in you that isn’t God – that is only by God’s grace as well.
