The three in One

Everything exists in the I AM Presence for manifestation. The unmanifest God – Brahman in Hinduism, Ein Sof in the Kabbalah is the unknowable Source of Creation. Creation happened because the unmanifested nothingness wanted to know itself. How could it know itself except by manifesting? This takes some thinking about – imagine that you are everything unmanifest – complete – but that has no real meaning because it cannot be defined. Life is defined by movement, so you have movement, though nothing has been created to determine that. The Supreme Nothingness of bliss and ecstasy – in fact the essence of Life. There is no Word to create as yet. It is as the womb of Mother but cannot be described.

From The Stanzas of Dzyan : The Eternal Parent, wrapped in her ever-invisible robes, had slumbered once again for seven eternities. Time was not, for it lay asleep in the infinite bosom of duration. Universal Mind was not, for there were no celestial beings to contain it. The seven ways to bliss were not. The great causes of misery were not, for there was no one to produce and get ensnared by them. Darkness alone filled the boundless all, for father, mother and son were once more one and the son had not yet awakened for the new wheel and his pilgrimage thereon.  The causes of existence had been done away with: the visible that was and the invisible that is, rested in eternal non-being — the one being.

At one point a ray of Light went out and the creation we know started though in the Kabbalah it was the start of creation in non-manifestation before it became creation in manifestation.  Again from the Stanzas of Dzyan: ‘The primeval ancient, the number, for he is one. The voice of the word, root-substance, the numbers , for he is one and nine. The ‘formless square’. And these three, enclosed within the boundless circle, are the sacred four; and the ten are the formless universe.’

Back to the present – the one branch became the three for that is the number of the most efficient stability. From Stanzas of Dzyan – ‘This is thy present wheel’, said the flame to the spark. ‘Thou art myself, my image and my shadow. I have clothed myself in thee and thou art my vehicle to the day “be with us”, when thou shalt re-become myself and others, thyself and me.’ The three, the four, the seven, the 10 – the 9 and the one are all sacred numbers. All of this is a part of us. It is our past and leading into the present until the day ‘be with us’.

The three in one – the flame and the Mother – the four even to the squaring of the circle. The three are the three in one because the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit agree in one. The threefold flame is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit agreeing in one and the Mother flame at the base is the four as the base of foundation. In the Kabbalah, the base (foundation) is Yesod. The three in one is a unity an absolute working as one until all three are one even though they are three. The same as the thought, the desire and the action when they are united are one.
