The Living Monstrance
You Are the Living Monstrance
The word monstrance comes from the root latin word meaning “to show.” The Monstrance is a sacred vessel, usually made of gold or silver, in which the consecrated Eucharistic Host is exposed for veneration or adoration, whereby the precious eucharistic body of Christ, may be seen for the purpose of the adoration of the faithful. Traditionally the monstrance was shown on most sacred occasions.
The monstrance carries the Bread of Life, which symbolizes the Body of Christ and the Universal Body of Christ in which we share. The host is the power of God. The bread of which we partake is symbolical and actual in its manifestation of the holy bread of Life which is God. The bread has power only when we become the bread. It is who is holding the bread that counts.
The monstrance represents the Great Central Sun. In the monstrance we have the love of Christ, of Alpha and Omega, the blessed angels, the radiance of the I AM Presence in the glory, the great crown of life and that most precious experience to us when our Lord and Saviour gave to us the greatest of all gifts that he could give to Francis, the gift of the stigmata.
Elizabeth Clare Prophet was embodied as Clare disciple of Francis or Kuthumi. So devoted was Saint Clare to the Sacred Heart in the Most Blessed Sacrament that her emblem became the monstrance. In art she is frequently represented with a monstrance or a ciborium. Saint Clare turned back an invading army with the monstrance in 1244 in Assisi, Italy. Jesus told her to hold up the monstrance. When she did so, it blinded and turned back the horde of Saracens who were attempting to take over the city. Through the Sacred Eucharist, the light of Christ, his Body and Blood, went out to confront the evil and the karma of the evil intent of the army and their hatred was turned back upon them.
The messenger used the monstrance during services, conferences and rituals, often during Holy Communion. The monstrance has also been used to reverse the tide of fire, flood and threats against the community of the Holy Spirit. Today the monstrance is held during services and conferences by ordained ministers who invoke the messenger’s presence on the altar to hold the monstrance through them, in the same manner and for the same purposes—to turn back the hordes of darkness that might attempt to assail the community of lightbearers worldwide.
The messenger has explained that all of our battles through the ages have been won at the altar. With the monstrance, armies can be turned away. She says, ““I would show to you the sign of the monstrance that shows to you that in yourself the body of the living Christ is present and that in the living witness in the incarnate Word, is that light of the body and the blood.” We can meditate upon the monstrance and enter into it.
You are the living monstrance—the body of the Lord Christ. As the vessel of the Body of God in the earth you can perpetually deflect from America and from every son and daughter of God upon earth all evil, all nuclear war, all radioactive and harmful fallout, all darkness, all envy, jealousy and ignorance, all resentment, revenge and retaliation, plague, terrorism, any form of treachery and intrigue, voodoo, black magic, prayers of malintent and all condemnation of this activity of light.
