The importance of names

I went to a shop today to get some ink for the printer. I was served by a young lady and I looked at her name and it was Issy. I thought that was an unusual name but then thought nothing of it. Then I sat in the car and I looked at the receipt and her name was Isabella. To me at that point, I thought wow Isabella is such a strong name and Issy just doesn’t do it.

Then I started to think about all the nick names we have been given and they just seem to stick don’t they? Like mine which my sister and a friend of hers gave me of Maz. I thought about it and thought , no Marian is a much stronger sounding name. You all know why these names are called nick names? After the father of lies also known as Old Nick. It makes you think doesn’t it?

These so-called ‘pet’ names are meant to weaken us. You just say both the nick name and the real name and see the difference. To me, it was quite clear – one was weak and the other was strong.I do not know of everyone else’s nick names or pet names, so you’ll have to test it out for yourselves. There is also the saying that ‘A rose by any other name smells just as sweet.’ This is true, the smell remains the same.

It is the overlay of a veil of concealment which begins the weakening of the name. Then the repeated using of that name which starts to become more real than the real name. For the repetition of Truth makes Truth stronger and likewise the repetition of the Lie makes the Lie stronger. The Law is unchanged, it still works but how you use it depends on you.

It is all the same whether you choose to qualify the energy coming from your I AM Presence in a negative way or you choose to qualify the energy coming from your I AM Presence in a positive way. You have free will and you can choose as you like. If you think there is nothing wrong in using a nick name then that is up to you and you are free to so choose.

If you at some time find for yourself it weakens you then you are free to stop using it. You have to make the choice, no one can make it for you and has been stated – not making a choice is still a choice.
