The Glory of the Lord

There so many songs singing of the Glory of the Lord – do you ever think what does that mean? What does it mean to you? To you what is the Glory of the Lord? How to best explain it – there just don’t seem to be any words. Perhaps the best way is the way in the East – not this, not this, not that.  I did that exercise some time ago but I didn’t get much out of it. Perhaps it is better to say what God is and then feel what God is. The grace of the Lord is all around. The statement ‘ In Him, we move and have our Being’ is not just a group of words.

If you can accept it, that is the truth! You just have to expand your consciousness to achieve the understanding. This takes practice like all things. Nothing happens all at once unless you have mastery from another embodiment perhaps. The glory of the Lord is all around you! Understanding of that may not be easy to acquire but it is possible. First of you need to understand that you cannot move a finger without using the energy of the Lord, the Lord is in the ground you walk on, in the trees, in the sky and the sea, literally everywhere. When I say literally, it is literally, there is nothing allegorical in this.

If you are still here, then reach your hands up into the air to your I AM Presence and call to the Presence to let Perfection descend. Then wait. Something will happen after a time, you may get an idea or just start doing something else which feels correct. Even if you do not feel anything at first, just accept that it is so. The thing is, you need to keep doing it as if it is so and it will become so. So many times we start things and just stop them for no reason. Very hard to build a momentum like that! Why do we do that? I know I have done it and my reason for not continuing was that something else seemed more important and that is usually what stops one. You allow something else to take the place of your I AM Presence and then you are worshipping a false God.

This may seem harsh but that is what happens. I have seen it time and time again. I know of people who found the Teachings, loved them, then left to satisfy something else and then came back to the Teachings 18 years later. The full circle brings you round again. If we could stop this meandering, we could save ourselves a lot of angst. We might even find it far easier to ascend without all these meanderings but there you are – it is all a matter of free will. Will you allow your will to merge with the Will of God or will you not?

The Glory of the Lord needs to be experienced and I’m fairly certain that it may be unique to each one. There is Samadhi which is defined as bliss in which you are absorbed into the infinite. Then there is Nirvana which seems to be more permanent than Samadhi. I believe the Ascension is higher than Nirvana. There is no better time than the present to try to contact the I AM Presence, the Glory of the Lord. It is the only way to contact and understand the Glory of the Lord. As in all things, it is better to follow your own Real Self rather than someone else’s.
