The Cost of Freedom

There was a song that came out in the early 70’s by CSN&Y and It was called ‘Find the Cost of Freedom’. Lyrics were ‘Find the Cost of Freedom, Buried in the ground, Mother Earth will swallow you, Lay your body down’. We were all somewhat younger then and the lyrics like so many of that era didn’t appear  to mean much. Until you come to today and reflect. What is the cost of freedom to you individually?

Real freedom in the teachings of the Ascended Masters is to give all you have to your I AM Presence so the I AM Presence can then give it back with interest and keep on expanding Being. Is it really so hard? There is only the energy from the I AM Presence, that everyone uses for energy, for good or ill. There is no other energy available. You could not lift a finger if not for that energy flowing to you 24 hours a day. That flow of energy never stops. If it did – so would you.

Why is there a cost for freedom? The devil owns this sphere and he has no truck with your freedom. He only wants to rule as few as possible for his comfort and therefore you stand in his way. Because we have so long ago lost true freedom, it plays little in our minds. Many of the true patriots gave up their lives in this sphere for freedom to reign here. It only takes one generation to lose freedom. One generation – 20 years. How young are you now?

I may be incorrect but it takes a long time before you begin to understand the Teachings of the Ascended Masters. Really you do not understand them until you become them and when they are part of you there is no need to remember them because you ARE them.YOU are the cost of freedom. So that you can become one with the Christ Self and prove your mastery in the matter plane. That is the only place it can be proven in the physical. You can have mental mastery but people cannot see that. Same with emotional mastery, though both are necessary and are pre-requisites to physical mastery. Why were Adam and Eve told to take dominion over the Earth? It is the physical where you prove the Teaching.

The cost of freedom is freedom in the mind, the emotions, the memory and finally in the physical. Lose your Life for His sake. When you come down to it there is only Life or Death and anything that causes even a little death is anti-Life.
