Dear Keepers of the Flame in Australia

We wanted to let you know that we will be working once again with some Australian Teaching Assistants during Summit University in Perth in January 2015.

The feedback that we received from you after the SU in Jindabyne last January was that attendees enjoyed having additional teaching assistants and saw it as a positive step in the growth of our organization in Australia. Overall it was a great success. The TA’s were well-received and attendees enjoyed the experience. It was helpful to us as the regional ministers to have this support and assistance in holding the balance for the six day SU session.

As longtime SU presenters, we are always looking to improve the SU program.  We want to offer the best hands-on training for new TA’s while also maintaining a level of continuity and without negatively impacting the quality of the Summit University experience for other students. It takes time for new TA’s to hone their presentation skills and to become adept at handling the energy which is part of conducting an SU session. Due to the nature of the program, we can probably only have three or possibly four trainee TA’s at any one time. If there were too many TA’s in training, it could be distracting and also appear to be top-heavy for the numbers of students that attend an SU downunder.

As this will be only the second time we have had additional TA’s at an SU in Australia, we feel comfortable to continue working with the TA’s from the SU at Jindabyne 2014—Geoff Dickie, Michaela Rouch and Tim Ross—and we are grateful that they will all be present to assist at SU in Perth.

As we grow the Summit Universities in Australia and fine tune the training, we foresee opportunities in future years for other people to join the program. We envision more people taking on significant supporting roles at SU so that Australian chelas can be prepared when the hundreds and eventually the thousands will start to come to your centers, as you shepherd the Australian people.

There are many other roles that are important for the success of the Summit University class. For example, AV is essential to the program, as are setup and takedown. Registration and book sales are a key point of interaction with the students, and the experience there can make a big difference especially for students who may be attending for the first time. The children’s program is very important as we welcome the next generation of lightbearers. Decree leading, whether in the SU sessions or early morning, can make a tremendous contribution to sustaining the forcefield for the light to descend. So if you feel called to serve, we encourage you to volunteer for one or more of the areas of service that are so vital to sustaining the chalice for Summit University.

We want to thank you for your support. We will continue to observe the SU program and search for ways to improve the quality of the SU experience. You are welcome to email us if you have questions or comments. And as always we will seek and welcome your feedback after the Summit University in Perth.

We are looking forward to a Holy Spirit filled time with you and the ascended masters in Perth in January 2015.

Christmas blessings to all!

Rev’s Neroli and Peter Duffy

Regional Ministers for Australia and New Zealand
