SPR consists of committed, accountable and talented individuals who are dedicated to Mother and Lanello’s mission to spread the teachings of the Ascended Masters. SPR was established to represent Australia as a region and to be a point of coordination between Study Groups, Headquarters and Keepers of the Flame. SPR’s role is to sponsor Summit University and communicate with Keepers of the Flame. As a work in progress and offered from Robin and Mary: SPRs MISSION – is to promote love and communicate the Ascended Master’s teachings as delivered by the Mark L. Prophet and Elizabeth Clare Prophet and connect Australian to their God Source and develop greater awareness of the Ascended Master’s mission for Australia and planet earth.
Celebrating our Victories SPR was conceived on the 1st July 1995 at a morning session of the Freedom Class at the Royal Teton Ranch. The Office of Ministry (OM) suggested Groups and Teaching Centers could form regions. After discussion with Marie Huttley, Ian Lew and Peter and Neroli four areas where the region could gain from co operative effort were chosen:
1. Communication between the groups 2. Outreach 3. Sharing resources 4. Wholesale book distribution
SPR continues to serve Keepers of the Flame in Australia fifteen years later.
Communications SPR uses the internet to communicate by email, hold meetings and elections via Skype and GoTo internet telephony. The elections were held in April and the new committee will be elected on 1st May 2011. SPR’s Treasurer and Information Technology specialist, Andrew Lachajczak, has completed his four year term with South Pacific Region Sub-committee. South Pacific Region Sub-committee has been most fortunate having Andrew lead us with his IT skills on the SPR web site.
Community Spirit South Pacific Region is an alliance with HQ and Australian KOF. This alliance enables SPR to promote the teachings to Keepers of the Flame and individuals in Australia. SPR had the good fortune to serve the community by each state representative working together. Representatives participate and plan Summit University, Youth Retreats, and tsl.org.au. These SPR functions certainly fostered Community Spirit in the SPR and the broader community. News from H.Q. ensure Australian KOF have a way to keep in touch with the latest issues.

SU and Youth Retreat Our most regular beloved presenters Reverend Peter Duffy and Reverend Neroli Duffy remind us that Australia has a special place in the heart of Ranch Headquarters and that Australia is St Germain’s trump card.
There were thirty-five attendees and registrations for S.U.2011. SPR liaised with the youth to hold the Youth Retreat while the Ministers were visiting for SU.
Attached is the SPR PowerPoint presented to KOF during SU2011. The title of the PowerPoint is “The Summit Lighthouse South Pacific Region Steering Committee Elections”.
It was with great interest the National Formation Committee presented a Community Update PowerPoint of plans and achievements. NFC called for expressions of interest for the topic committees on election process and voting, policies and procedures -communication, community development, IT committee and legal and tax reviews.
The SU venue for 2011 was provided by Sydney Summit Lighthouse Study Group and the teamwork between SSG and SPR was exceptional.

Thank you everybody for all the planning, attendance and jobs done during SU2010 which made it such a success.
Online Decrees Before and after SU, SPR lead a Great Divine Director Novena via Skype. Online decrees were held for the Queensland Floods, the earthquake in Christchurch and for the tri catastrophes of tsunami, earthquake and nuclear explosions in Japan and for abortion.
Passing of our Beloved Messenger Elizabeth Clare Prophet 15th October 2009 The memory of Guru Ma lives more brightly in the hearts of Keepers of the Flame who continue to be inspired. We owe a debt of profound gratitude for Mother’s books, tapes, CD’s, DVD’s lectures and the vast legacy left for us to be St Germain’s forerunners in the Golden age of Aquarius
Parliament of the World’s Religions A submission was made by SPR for the Paul Carus Award for Outstanding Contributions to the interreligious Movement nominating our Beloved Guru Ma for her visionary work in respect for Life, commitment to a just economic order, truth, a sense of responsibility and the spirit of God’s love wisdom and power.
Letter to Melbourne Age SPR sent a letter to the Editor correcting misinformation about Mother’s leadership role of Church Universal and Triumphant.
Supporting Brisbane Keepers of the Flame SPR played a support role in helping Queensland Keepers of the Flame to establish a centre in Brisbane. Thanks to the estate of beloved Keeper of the Flame, Marie Dulce de Almeida Santos, a bequest of a large sum of money was made. This bequest was specifically for the purpose of establishing a Summit Lighthouse Centre in Brisbane.
Formalising the relationship with Ranch HQ SPR is anticipating the National Formation Committee’s work in forming a new National Body to determine God’s Plan for Australia and the best way to work with HQ. The NFC and SPR will be superseded when an Australian National Committee is formed.
Advertising SPR called upon the community to vote on whether or not to continue to promote the Teachings by advertising in “Nova”. The cost of advertising versus the public response was not great. SPR representatives found posters and short Health and Spiritual Fairs to be more effective.
Tax Free Status There was concern about a new tax law.
