Striving to reach higher

Striving means – (an effortful attempt), so this you do not just try, though trying is important. It means you push and keep pushing even if you think you cannot go further because you always can go further than you think. See that word “THINK”, you allow it to stop you from striving. Mind you, your thinking apparatus will prevent you from striving, even while you need it to strive.

It is the same tool – you have allowed that tool to be used against you, many incarnations ago and so it is still preventing you from doing what you want to do, until you as the soul, take command of that mental body and whip it into shape. Does this sound difficult? Not really, you see because the mental body is supposed to be illuminated but instead is full of left over conversations and images from long ago as well as now.

The best way to get rid of them is to pass the violet flame through them and release them. That is why a useful exercise in meditation is just to sit and watch the thoughts pass in front of you while stopping your attention from following them. This is not as easy as it sounds. It takes willingness and desire to do this. It takes striving, that firm determination to never give up, never turn back, never submit.

You have to take a stand somewhere, it may as well be in the mind for you will need to do it with the emotional body and the memory body as well. It may be easier to start in the mind because you are perhaps more familiar with it and now is the time to say “Thus far and no farther.” “You have no power. God Almighty is the only power that act.” Mean it, even if you have to dig down into the recesses of your being, come back up and give the fiat above.

You know, your words have power in your physical body IF you mean them. Then they have power in your world IF you mean them. It is all again, up to you. You are important because only you can do the clean up of your world. No one else can do it for you. Only you and you alone, can make your world seem bright, Only you can make the stars of your firmament shine. There is only you. Take the challenge and BE
