SPR Meeting 21st February 2010

1. Treasurers Report was sent out to SPR. Andrew gave us an update on the bills that have been. We still need to pay HQ $4,474 for airfares etc. Andrew has set up an account for Youth Retreat which has a balance of $448. Balance in SPR acct is $1551. This was pleasing as our numbers were less than 2009, before we sponsored and gave concessions to some attendees.

2. By-election for Adelaide As Daniel Cap from SA has resigned, Glenda would like to be nominated for the position on half of Adelaide SA. Marie suggested we should also invite Cara from Brisbane to join SPR or another person to represent Qld. This should all take place at the same time in one election.

3. Andrew was concerned that his time maybe up as a member of SPR and as Treasurer. He will check to find out.

4. Mary will act as Rep for the Election Subcommittee for the states of Qld, SA

5. Paul’s email – Andrew will post Neroli’s letter on TSL Australian wesite. Paul’s information regarding Mother comes from a psychic source .

6. SU 2010. All SPR members commented on SU 2010 and said it was a wonderful spiritual experience the light was very high. Micheala said that Melbourne S G wanted the diet to fit in more with our requirements. We all agreed. No bacon, less sugar and no chocolate. She will write up a list of criteria and send it to all SPR members to check. All the other items were suitable and went well. We could do more outside promotions so more people attend in the future.

7 SU 2011 Micheala will also write a list of requirements for the SU venue. This will be handed over to the person in charge for SU 2011 on the criteria list. We should make the calls earlier to cut free souls to come to SU. Andrew suggested that people can use the ING acct to start depositing payments. We should get SU organised much sooner by end of April. So people can get cheaper flights. We need a few more proposals for a venue from the each state. The SU 2011 venue should be sent to SPR before 21st of March. These will be sent out to the wider community for comment. The community can report back to their SPR rep. We will need to have feedback by 11th April so we can vote on a SU proposal for 2011.

8 AV at SU We thanked Andrew for his help at SU 2010 AV. Andrew said we need to have a variety of DVD, CD equipment etc. So more people can share in helping with SU.

Improvements on AV- refer to Neroli and Peter’s email. Share AV at SU so it is not up to one person Audio and video ~ CD and DVD and other devices

9 Summit Lighthouse Australia/NNB Update Marie gave us a summary - Main objective was to develop ideas for people to work with the NNB and join topic groups such elections, book publishing communications technology, finances, legal etc as groups discussed at SU2010 Idea of changing name of the subcommittee of NNB ?? an email will be sent out about. It was all very positive. Tim has sent out an email about these groups on NNB.

10 YOUTH RETREAT

Michaela gave a detailed report on the Youth Retreat it was great but it was very cold and rainy. It was a family atmosphere and it was enjoyed by all. We had 6 youth, and with adults to help at Brenda’s House.

11 1300 number. We all agreed to continue with the 1300 number 1300 number $360 for whole country: Study Groups Melbourne & Sydney ($90 pa) Smaller groups: Canberra, Wagga, Perth, Adelaide, TAS, QLD ($30pa) Sydney will continue to pay off their portion of the bill.

12 Brisbane Study Group update Robin will email Cara and see how the setup of the group is going.

13 Communication: Summit Lighthouse Australia on Facebook; Twitter and Website We need Andrew to comment about it at the next meeting. He will talk to Christine and Sharon as they have been activating the sites. Andrew said that Peter commented on updating the website to a more secure system so only KOFs can access the SPR meeting information. Andrew said - We could use Pole Daddy to vote online.
