Obedience

Though it strikes a hard note – just like that, obedience is the epitome of love. There is no love without obedience. Think about it! The electrons that dance around an atom in joy and harmony would collapse if they did not obey the law of their being. It is not a tyrannical imposition but it is from inside you, the very law of your being. Existence cannot exist without love and likewise it cannot exist without obedience.

The still, small voice – your intuition, if you do not follow its’ promptings – you suffer, possibly not immediately but over a longer period as you pay less and less attention to that voice.

If you have a citadel of love all around you and you fortify it with Love and Light, how much do you need to feel safe? That is an unknown but if you allow a smidgen of discord to penetrate anywhere along the outside, it will eventually penetrate – such is the cancer of evil, since it corrupts and spreads. That is why we do not allow even a speck of discord into our Citadel of Love and Light.

This is at the heart of love for to be love is to be obedient to love which is yourself in reality. And there’s the rub – you have forgotten that you are love and so obedience seems hard, though it is the discord that finds it hard and it tries its’ best to make you think you find it hard. You, in the centre of love do not find it hard. Therefore go into the centre of your being and become one with that love and be truly free.

All the precepts of the Law are there for your benefit and if it seems hard, cast out that part which finds it hard and do not allow the discord to  colour your thoughts and feelings but stamp it out for it is a poisonous viper seeking to take you away from yourself.
