Nirvana – an Occult Experience

This is from the book Nirvana By G. S. Arundale which can be downloaded in .pdf form if you so choose.
(This perception of the wonderful sameness of all things, which means that in essence all things are vibrant with infinite potentiality, causes an interesting and significant reaction to the outer world.) CH II p 31.
Why do I quote from this book? This book led me to where I find myself now. Of course there were other books but very few books play such a large role in one’s life I find just by reading them. Another is the Stanzas of Dzyan from the Secret Doctrine by Madame Blavatsky. How fortunate you are that these are most likely available to download in pdf for free.
Nirvana – what is it and why do you need it? The back of the book states “You have but to realize Nirvana where you are, for it is everywhere and always.” That is an amazing statement. If you are in connection with your I AM Presence then you will probably get to Nirvana but you do not really need it. Nirvana really only happens when your third eye is open.
Mine, as yet, isn’t. Still if you can feel the stillness of the air brushing your cheek, or if you can feel the sublime ineffableness of Sanat Kumara which is an expansion of consciousness and leads to a further expansion of consciousness. Sanat Kumara – say the name and open yourself to feeling what that name reveals. It originally felt to me, like the most perfect Spring morning.
Now it just feels so inexpressively delightful. Something I would connect with Nirvana. It is a moment of bliss which enlivens your life. If you can touch it, you will understand the smallest part of creation. I would that I could transfer what I feel. Unfortunately that is not allowed. You need to make your way there for yourself.
I hope this short synopsis will enliven in you the desire to traverse the untrammelled heights in the heavens. I think we limit ourselves by our understanding of ourselves. That is, we allow our understanding to get in the way of opening ourselves to the bliss all around us.
For if God is consciousness and consciousness is everywhere, then bliss is also everywhere, even in the little daffodil. We just have to allow ourselves to see it.
