Memorial Service for Jenny Batten

The Memorial Service for Jenny Batten will take place during the Ascension Service at Summit University in Perth on January 16, 2015 in the evening. The service will broadcast for those who cannot be present and archived.

Jenny’s service will be conducted by Revs. Neroli and Peter Duffy with participation by fellow Australian chelas. The service will include a eulogy and brief summary of Jenny’s life in her own words as well as the songs that Jenny chose to be sung and a beautiful short dictation excerpt by beloved Jesus the Christ which Jenny requested.

There will also be opportunity for some of Jenny’s fellow chelas to give a short witness to Jenny and her life.

If you plan to be at SU in Perth at Club Capricorn and would like to give a short witness or testimony, please contact Rev. Neroli Duffy so that you can be placed on the schedule. If you will not be present but like to have a short statement or story read, please email your witness to Neroli also.

We estimate that we will have time and opportunity for about eight to ten witnesses. In order to avoid duplication it would be wonderful and helpful if your witness gave an aspect or perspective or a story about Jenny that perhaps others might not be aware of. It can be a short vignette or story if you wish. In any event please make sure that your witness is between no more than 3 minutes in length, ideally about a minute or two so that others may speak too.
