Meaning, Purpose

I suppose a lot of people look for purpose and meaning in their lives. First you might think of the purpose of your life being to have  a beautiful house, a beautiful wife, a few children and a yard to run around in. When you are in your early or late 20’s that is where your thoughts lead – and why? Because your father and mother did it and so you jumped on to the wagon to join them and there is nothing wrong with that.

It is a fine place to start off from! No it isn’t a race – (well as an aside, it isn’t called the human race for nothing), it is just that if that is all you focus on for the next 20 or 30 years, well, even though it isn’t too late, (because it never is too late) to start thinking perhaps about some of the things, that hopefully, you learned in school, which if you are in your late 50’s and 60’s or more you did learn about those things at school. Things like respect, religion, hope, love, brotherhood and tomorrow will be a better day.

On the other hand if you neglect what was given in your early years, hopefully you managed to make something out of it. See, meaning and purpose are fine but if bereft of God or some spiritual striving, it really is a waste of time and then you have to come back to this place or perhaps one a little better. You do know that you create the world you see and so for a lot of people, their worlds, while at the moment seem okay, will not keep going that way UNLESS in some way they have included God into their equation.  Here is another truth, if you think it is hard, you are correct – if you think it is easy, you are correct. The answer is that you create the difficulty or the simplicity. It does not just happen to you, that never happens – you have set the process in motion and you have to bear the consequences of your thoughts, feelings and actions.

If you are a church-goer and you go religiously week after week without much else, you are still building something better for yourself especially if you pour yourself in and give of your energy. That will definitely be a plus. Everything is about energy. Some people may think anger is an emotion and it is  BUT emotion means energy in motion and negative energy, no matter how much you try to justify it, cannot rise, it is just too heavy. On the other hand, love which at least is  lighter energy, can rise and uplift unless it is that syrupy kind of love, that will only drag you down with it.

So you love reading books especially those thriller fictional books because they get your juices running. The problem is you put your energy into that reading  and you are emotionally connected, your heart is pumping faster, so the blood in your bloodstream is running faster and you find it hard to put the book down because you now have so much energy vested in it. Then you read another and another and another. I know, I did for a number of years. I even made a decision to stop reading a book because of how it made me feel. Glad I did since eventually I turned more and more to the I AM Presence and days are so much better now than before. BY God’s grace.

Still if you do not include God, then it is a pity because unless  someone is helping you to get through your stuff and it is still yours and you have to work through it, though other people can help just like the people who helped Jesus carry the cross.

Suffice to say that you do need the help of your I AM Presence and the Ascended Masters to get out of this world alive because the Way is narrow and it is easy to lose your footing.
