Join a book study

First off you need to start where you are and that is with the Summit books. The benefits of the earlier only start to be apparent after you have dedicated a long time to decrees and studying the Teachings. A good way to study the Teachings is to join a book study. There you get to know a lot that would take you a long time to find by yourself. You get the benefit of the years other people have put into studying and experiencing the Teachings. I know for myself that I have heard things during the years but I have no idea in what album because I listened to so many. Plus at the time you don’t think about writing it down.

I love our book studies and really look forward to them because we go into the topic so deeply that I don’t think I’d do that on my own. I would take what I could but with other people, they open other vistas you may not have thought of exploring. I would suggest if you can, to get involved in the teachings of the Kabbalah – that is another way. No a book study is probably the best way to go – most bang for your buck, so to speak.

There are benefits to reading the earlier teachings for sure. For a start you expand the synapses of your brain and then you start to become what you have read. You listen and then you go aha that is correct. Of course you cannot do that if you don’t have any background. So look around for book studies. I know we run a couple – Fallen Angels among us and Community and the Queensland group runs one on Corona Class Lessons. If you have not the time to read the books, you could join a couple of book studies to find out how wonderful they are. The other way is get audible books which you can listen to.

I do believe it is best to immerse yourself in the Teachings of the Ascended Masters, as that is probably the best way to absorb them and then if something sparks an interest you can read the book. Always remember to invoke the Electronic Presence of the Master whose book you are reading. It is always more interesting that way. Plus when you study the Teachings and then join decree groups, you will find the books themselves will change or actually it is you who changes.

It is only after a short time sometimes very short that you can see the changes happening even if you aren’t putting that much into the study. The mere fact that you are at least starting draws the attention of the Masters. Your studying the Teachings makes the Masters happy as it makes the world a happier place and the elementals will be happier especially as you begin to notice them. Look up in the sky and you will see some unusual looking clouds once you start paying attention.

The book study also depends on you even when you are shy and just starting off, the more effort you put into it, the more you will get out of it, that is certain. The teachings are so vast that a lifetime would not be enough to study them all but the fun is in starting. The saying – sweet in the mouth is true as the truth is enjoyable, then there is bitter in the belly which is when you start to put it into practice and you do not get the results you might like. The key to all is harmony. Stillness in your feelings as it is the water body.
