On behalf of the Council of Elders, we welcome you to learn about spiritual leadership in our organization as we review together around the world the booklet, Spiritual Leadership—A Call to Study, Prayer, and Discussion. Thank you for taking the time to carefully read its contents, and for your devotion to the Messengers, the ascended masters, and to The Summit Lighthouse and Church Universal and Triumphant. The Elders have prepared the enclosed document in order to answer the questions of our members and to enlist your support in studying, discussing, and praying for God’s will related to spiritual leadership. We hope that you will all find this very helpful background on our church, and that it will provide a rich foundation as we look to the future.

Much of the text of the booklet is taken from the Messengers, the ascended masters, and from the Articles and Bylaws that, similar to a constitution, instruct us on how the organization should function. This is explained in greater detail in the booklet.

The format of the booklet is based on the questions that are most frequently asked by our members, interspersed with discussion points that you may wish to contemplate and talk about with others. The Elders have formed a committee called the Spiritual Leadership Education Committee to help with this process.
