How to know God

This, probably should be the easiest thing in the world to do, though unfortunately, as things are, the most useful information has been lost and burned and hidden from the people. The good news is that the teachings have been re-published in the I AM books, the Bridge to Freedom books and the Summit Lighthouse books. For some people, this is hard to find and for others hard to understand.

God will not intrude upon your free will. Your Free Will is sacred to God. If you invite God into your Life, God will answer. If you can talk to God in your heart and listen to His Voice then you can understand and be taught if you ask to be taught. Like wise nothing can come into you unless you invite it. This means you need to be careful where you put your attention. Whatever you put your attention on you attract. If you do not like what is happening in your Life, notice where your attention is.

Put your attention on God, whatever your highest concept if God is. Ignore everything else as unreal for it is. The only reality is God, the I AM Presence. It takes time, it isn’t easy though if you determine to do it – you will. That is really the question – what do you want?  If you want to know God – you can, if you want to have a good time – you can, if you want a million dollar lifestyle – you can. What do you want? You are free to choose.

Of course Jesus did say ‘Seek Ye first the Kingdom of Heaven and its Righteousness and ALL these things shall be added unto you.’ Did you believe Him? That is really key Believe – what do you choose to believe – why do believe what you believe also the question must be asked – why do you believe what you believe?

It is hard if you need to test everything though discriminatory thinking will be helpful. Were you taught, at school, how to know God? Not that I remember. I was taught that God is everywhere. I believe that was the first question in the catechism, unfortunately though, none of the nuns had us reflect on that or think about that, it was just glossed over, though it is monumental.

Think about it – if God is everywhere, then there is no place where God isn’t and if there is no place that God isn’t, then God is also in you – do you see how one thing leads to another and you come to one conclusion that you are God. If you are God, why do you not act like God? How much of God have you realised? You need to imbibe that God while letting go of all that is not God inside you. Think of it as a fantastic trade – you get to trade all your rags for gold. It is like winning the lottery except it is true and real.

You are to be a conscious co-creator with God, your I AM Presence, so you need to remain aware of what is going on at all times. You need to start at the beginning and then another layer and another layer , one on top of the other, the same way you build anything block by block. If you want to learn something, you cannot start at the end you start at the beginning and then one more and another. If you do it every day, you can build a momentum quite quickly. The most important thing is to start.

When leaving the body you must do it consciously, though you can make the call to be taken to the retreats and work to remember as much as you can. If you cannot remember how do yo know you have been? Feeling, something in the back of mind during decrees. Be aware of everything you can.
