Freedom

Without freedom of consciousness it is almost impossible to find God. Of course the I AM Presence is always searching for ways to bring people back into the awareness that they are one with Him/Her. In the teachings it is written, that each one is given three opportunities to find the Teachings of the Ascended Masters in their lifetime. Some people fail to grasp the opportunity for various reasons.

I remember my older sister and how I introduced her to the teachings just after I found them and I could feel her looking through the magazine and almost everything she was feeling. It was a most amazing experience. I gave her two more opportunities at various times but she had already looked at it  and she knew all about it, so she declined. This is sad in retrospect for she did not give it a chance.

Then again, Mother has stated that those who only came into embodiment at the time of Jesus, could only accept Jesus as the Teacher and they had no other memory of previous gurus. Whether this is true of my sister, I have no idea but since that is the case I choose that to be the case. Now, Freedom – people who are free tend to take freedom for granted. They appear not to realise that freedom needs to be protected.

I suppose, the real freedom is to be able to think the thoughts you want to think without being bombarded by outside intruders such as – high beam radio waves, wifi, radio signals, other people’s thoughts and microwaves. These are not all enumerated but they are enough to start with. Your tube of light goes a long way to minimise these thoughts of others. I do remember back in the days of my youth a time I was merrily walking along the road.

Suddenly this thought came to me that I should jump out on the road into the way of the car coming down the road. By God’s grace, I immediately rejected this thought and thought to myself, that it was not my thought and then proceeded on my way without giving it another thought. This was about eight years before I found the teachings. Now, looking back at that situation, I realize that it was a projection at  me or against me.

You might think why would anyone do that. For any number of reasons, I suppose. That is the sort of world we live in and these are the sort of things we need to protect ourselves against. This is just one that I remembered and now the world is filled with these things. Tube of Light many times a day is essential. Bonding yourself to a Master is fairly essential as well. Why? You need the support of a Master to help you along.

You need all the help you can get for there are forces that want to take away your Freedom. In my mind, foremost, the freedom to think and feel what you want to think and feel, for then you can make decisions based on your understanding and you can increase your understanding.

Remember – the one who has not control of thought, feeling and memory – entire consciousness being and world – cannot truly be said to be free.
