Free Will

What is free will? This is liable to be question that may cause an argument. So what is free will – why do some people say we have free will and others say we do not? Well we do have the gift of free will and what this means is we can choose yes or no. We can choose to get up or lay down. What you do not hear about so much is that you are responsible for your decision. You make decision – always better than not making a decision. If it is a bad decision you will find out eventually and possibly have the chance to turn that decision into a better decision.

Why do you need to change the decision? If you don’t like the result, it is advisable. Seems pointless to make a poor decision and then see the result but still go on that way. Much better if you stop and think. What do you really want? Well perhaps you don’t know, so maybe you should ask someone, preferably someone who has done this before. The best one to ask is God. Why not? It costs nothing to talk to God and ask him and even if you think you are crazy, what does that matter? You are only talking to the one who has your best interests at heart.

So, free will – yes you have free will but it is not a license to do whatever you want, it is after all so you can choose to do the Will of God. That is the whole point of your being here, to choose the Will of God.

In the beginning, you always did the Will of God, in fact you knew no other Will but the Will of God. You didn’t ask about why you have free will or not, it never entered your head and you were happy. You had so much energy, you probably never needed to sleep, you were joyous, victorious and just so happy  creating one thing after another to the glory of God and then anything was possible for you, you had no limitations. The problems started when you chose away from the Will of God and even that was more of an invasion of your psyche but you gave it your attention and then you were outside of God.

God did not change, you were still loved so tenderly, doted on in fact but you were outside the circle and there was no way back in at that time. That was the result of playing with free will. Your choices can hurt you, so hopefully you change your choices.
