Community Expanding
Hello all,
Everyone of us is held in the flame of the TSLA community, but community just doesn’t limit you to a city, but more so a nation.
Why am I writing this you ask?
There has been two instances this year where I have had to travel interstate and after contacting the local members of our community within that state, have been welcomed in love with open arms.
The first was at the start of the year when I had to travel to Melbourne for work. I contacted some of the locals to let them know. We arranged a time to meet and I was picked up by Andrew in his car and given a tour of the city. He put on his tour guide hat quite well and took me to a few scenic lookouts and then we both head to the Melbourne Teaching Centre.
Feeling the flame of a Teaching Centre is an incredible thing to experience. It is also the ultimate goal for any group of chelas studying the teachings of the Ascended Masters.
We spent the evening there and went out for a walk to get some dinner. The teaching centre is located in a nice, peaceful area with many local places to eat at within walking distance to choose from. It was a hard choice, but we eventually got through it.
We then went back to the teaching centre and conversed over dinner. I purchased some books as well which was great for me to read while I was back in my motel that my work was paying for.
The word must have also got around that I was in town. I was surprised by another devoted chela (Brenda), who came to see me where I was working. It was perfect timing. Just that little chat helped me steer my focus back to God and not the lie that everyone else is living in. It made me feel special.
The second time was in Sydney. At the moment I am on my way to the Inner Retreat for for the Summer Conference by God’s grace. My flight to Bozeman left too early for me to take a red eye flight from Adelaide so I had to stay over night in Sydney.
Once I contacted Joy and let her know my situation, within three chess moves everything was planned. I was blessed with the opportunity to stay the night and experience the flame at the Sydney Teaching Centre. More importantly, everyone went the extra mile to make sure I felt welcomed and was at home while I stayed there. Mark even walked to the train station to come pick me up as I was a little out of my comfort zone and unsure of the area.
It was a great experience, and to be able to do the Jesus Watch Service was a such a blessing too. Both Teaching Centres are holding so much light by Gods grace by holding a permanent focus for the Ascended Masters.
The reason I am sharing these stories with you all, is to help everyone of us remember that you have friends everywhere in Christ. So next time, you are travelling interstate and want to connect with the local chelas there – please reach out. And if you don’t know anyone interstate, just ask someone within your city or within the community.
It is such a blessing to be able to serve others, as it is to be the one being served. I want to announce to all of you. If anyone is coming to Adelaide… Sing out! I assure you I will do everything in my power to move heaven and earth to make your visit that little more enjoyable.
Speaking of which, I am sure there will be many interstate visitors coming to Adelaide this January in McCracken by the grace of God.
Something wonderful is about to happen…
David Cap
