Book studies

I must say I really love our book studies. It wasn’t like that in the beginning back when we were studying Community but it did get much better. The Fallen Angels book study is incredible with everyone giving their ideas about different things they have learned. Now with new presenters it has been given a new lease of life in a sense because each one taps into their higher Self and brings forth those jewels.

Then we have the afterlife book study in which we look at life after so-called death. With teachings by Elizabeth Clare Prophet and we are fortunate to have relevant videos so this presentation really comes to life. It is also amazing how little we all know about something which happens every day, many times a day. It is a personal thing to experience for sure though there are some things which are in common.

The soul leaves the body just the same as it does every night during sleep. This time though it does not come back to the place where it was earlier. It, the soul, hopefully transcends planes and goes to the higher retreats to keep learning. It is unfortunate that though the leaving of the body is similar – what happens after leaving the body is not always similar. It appears that as you are when you are on the earth plane – you are also on any other plane.

Not everyone is kind and helpful to other people on the earth. Some people are selfish. They cannot become something more than they are when they are here.

There are other presentations which you may not know about. There is Kabbalah presented by Carol Ann Bethel. I quite like this presentation. It helps sometimes to understand, different facets and belief systems, which are somewhat different to what I grew up with. the Teachings of the Ascended Masters has opened up a wide vista of knowledge and awareness, Kabbalah being one facet. Though I must admit I never really focussed on the book much before this presentation.

Then there is the new Grief and Bereavement presentation by Carol Ann Bethel and Michaela Rouche. This goes into the physical side of leaving the body. This is specific to finding out the nitty gritty of what you need to do to prepare before you get there. It is a very interesting presentation and if you cannot attend – you can still find out more about it.
