Book Studies

Where is the value in a book study? What does it mean and what does it entail? Literally it is a study of a book. It means, you or someone else reads a portion and that is then open to discussion. Everyone can put in whatever resonates with them. It may be an anecdote from the past or simply a revelation from the present.

It will, hopefully open up your consciousness to explore more vistas as they open up for you. The book studies I have attended, mostly with the Sydney group are thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining. It seems a far cry from my first book study I attended in 1982. Admittedly I was brand new to the teachings and possibly that did not help.

Still, even if you are brand new, I encourage you to come along. You can just listen if you do not feel the need to share. The Masters have said that all these Pearls, books and dictations have between 33 and 40 layers of teaching designed for everyone who will ever pick up a book, read a Pearl or listen to a dictation.

So, you are covered wherever you are. Come along – we would love to see you. Our next book study is on the Human Aura. This is based on the concept of the Four Pillars being the Human Aura, Studies in Alchemy, Intermediate Studies in Alchemy and the Intermediate Studies of the Human Aura.

I’m unsure if we will be doing all of them but that is a possible outline. For some people, this is the best way to actually look at a book for the first time. My first book study was on the Human Aura back in 1982 and I knew nothing at that time. I still had to get over many things. The way it was done was probably typical of book studies at that time.

Now we use PowerPoint and hope to make it more interactive. Remember you can only get out of something what you give in return.
